If needed: Gatorade has a high sugar content when compared to hydration products designed for infants/toddlers.In a pinch, it can be mixed 1/2 to 1/2 with water to create an oral hydration solution for kids with diarrhea/vomiting.I see no value in it otherwise & it would not be my first choice, but it could help avoid an excursion to the store in the middle of the night.
