Sports drinks: You are better off w/water. Sports drinks can contain sugar, artificial colors, sodium, etc. An alternative to water would be lemonade or iced tea you make yourself. Peace and good health.

No...: The sodium will help hold water in the body. Eventually if your kidneys are working well you'll be able to clear it but it may take a while.
