A week after gallbladder surgery i'm still getting pain under my ribcage and in my back, how long does this go on for ?

1-2 weeks: It depends on how bad the inflammation, bleeding was, laparoscopic or not?, Still, in most cases you will go home in 1 -2 days, be in pain the first week, sore the second and then return to activities the 3rd or 4th week. I know a surgeon who had it out and was back at work the next day. Depends on how u deal with pain.
