Concussion sequelae: Concussions can affect multiple areas of the brain. The hypothalamus, an area in the brain that help control body functions such a temperature regulation, can be damaged by head trauma. This can lead to unexpected variations in the body temperature. A person with such symptoms should discuss this with their physician.
