See your doctor: This sounds like a serious injury and the precise time of activity restriction following this sort of injury must be determined by your physician after a thorough review and examination. Generally, you are to avoid strenuous activity and contact sports, or any other activity with which you could suffer a repeat concussion.

Concussion: Would make sure that a ct scan and/or MRI of the head is ordered and evaluated by a neurologist prior to any sporting activity. Would avoid any contact sport for the time being.
