About

Bio

I have been a board certified family physician since 1987. Santa Maria, California is my home town and I attended Universities of California, Davis for undergrad and the University of California, San Diego for medical school. My family practice residency at the University of Missouri, Columbia led me to open a private practice in Jefferson City, Missouri. I enjoy interacting with patients from newborns to nonagenarians. My non-medical interests include scuba diving, underwater videography (willflix.com), rock and ice climbing, and kayaking. These activities are best enjoyed with grandchildren, of which my wife and I have thirteen (so far!).

Specialties
Doctors may have more than one area of specialty interest. Board certification in a specialty area means the doctor has completed formal training and has practice experience in that specialty, and has passed the certification examination from the corresponding accredited medical specialty board.
