I have pain on the left side of the colon. it worsen every time i move, but subside after 6 hours or so. abdomen ultrasound is fine. what could it be?

LLQ colonic pain: With a negative ultrasound, it could be constipation, even with stalling everyday. Drink a lot of water, fruits, vegetables, whole grains and take Miralax OTC at home every night until pain subsides. Also, if pain is superficial on that side, it could be musculoskeletal pain if active and Advil 400 mg po q 6 hrs is helpful for muscle strain or pain. If pain worsens. see your pedi MD on visit.
