Suboptimal studies for that reason. Direct visualization, scope for polyps or non-scope for hemorrhoids is the best way to visualize polyps or hemorrhoids.

A colonoscopic examination after proper preparation is the optimal way to rule out colonic polyps. Hemorrhoids could be visualized through a proctoscope without need to go through the preparation.

Recent ultrasound found .8 cm uterine polyp or fibroid (solid lesion isoechoic to the myomentum). Doc recommends hysteroscopy to remove but said shes not concerned for cancer. I had a colon polyp removed last year that was precancerous. Scared?
