Thick heart wall: Diastolic dysfunction grade I refers to a thickness or stiffness in the wall of the left side of the heart. There are many causes to this problem, including high blood pressure, that are very treatable. There are others that are not. She should talk to her cardiologist and see what she/he thinks the source of the problem is and what should be done about it.
