A member asked:

My echo shows moderate diastolic dysfunction and mild regurgitation i'm a 45yo female, should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: Moderate (stage II) diastolic dysfunction is serious but often misdiagnosed. If you have no symptoms, I would have the echo repeated at an academic center. If you do have symptoms of congestive heart failure, work closely with your doctor to correct any correctable causes and treat symptoms as best as able.
