Globus sensation: Consider video barium swallow to assess swallowing ,check for Eagle syndrome ( elongated styloid) , superior cornu of larynx abrading thyroid cartilege( high level CT of neck) , cricopharengeal spasm, check thyroid via ultrasound for nodules and cervical lymph nodes.. A c spine film would show osteophytes that may interfere with swallowing but you are rather young for that. f/u w/ ENT

This must be: FRUSTRATING. Many experts believe globus is the result of incoordination of the swallowing muscles. Many muscles are involved with swallowing; they must tense and relax in the correct sequence for swallowing to occur normally. Stomach acid from reflux may aggravate, as can stress, fatigue, post-nasal drainage. Treat underlying aggravant/stress/anxiety; speech therapists can do physiotherapy.

Globus sensation.: Remember that the official name for this is "globus hystericus" to indicate that emotionality is the primary cause of this sensation. If whatever emotion is causing this sensation for you (anxiety, depression, etc.) is treated, then the globus sensation should go away. This is assuming, though, that your medical investigations are complete in this regard.
