Malignancy is something that particularly should be ruled out/ ruled in- in this case. Go to see the ENT , she should get a biopsy to the lump- then will depend on the result- some imaging studies should be done accordingly.

TUMOR ?: The definitive DX can be done by the ENT specialist after the removal of the tumor or cyst and biopsy.
