Since jan/14 i have felt like a sweet has been stuck in my throat. an endoscopy shows a lump in my oesophagus. otherwise im fine. could it be cancer?

Biopsy: Did the person doing the endoscopy not do a biopsy of the lump? Biopsy and examination of the tissue from the lump would be the way to diagnose the nature of the lump. Cancer is one possibility.
