Not normal: Not normal. Suggests a problem. Was the pain after the sinus lift, implant placement, or crown seating. If your DDS can not explain, get a second opinion.

Pain: May be as simple as the new crown being in hyper function, easily fixed with an occlusal adjustment. May be as complex as infection of the tissues around the implant. Please return to your Dentist for an examination and differential diagnosis.
