See below: Numb means "can't feel anything". I presume you really mean tingling all over. This commonly is seen with anxiety and hyperventilation. Diabetes (severe) is the most common medical disease causing this.

Hard to evaluate: You give no patient age and a vague description about sensation.Pre-existing medical conditions, history of previous activities (previous night at least),previous attempts to evaluate or treat the problem,etc would help.At this point, the description is too vague to point to anything specific.
