Get other tests: A low alk phos level maybe normal, but can also occur commonly with low vitamin D levels, and rarely with endocrine(glandular abnormalities.

Usually benign: You neglected to indicate HOW LOW. Sometimes related to poor nutrition, celiac disease, low thyroid, low magnesium. Ask your Dr.

Concerned about cousin, she has MS & Leukemia for many years,but now blood work showed high liver levels, Total Protein 6.2, ALT 210, AST 163, ALKALINE PHOSHATASE 254.. had ultrasound & doc said nothing life threating but what would cause this,ideas?
Had blood work done. My creatine was 1/15 which is a bit high according to the range. And my alkaline phosphatase was 36, which was a tad low. Worry?
