Get other tests: A low alk phos level maybe normal, but can also occur commonly with low vitamin D levels, and rarely with endocrine(glandular abnormalities.

Usually benign: You neglected to indicate HOW LOW. Sometimes related to poor nutrition, celiac disease, low thyroid, low magnesium. Ask your Dr.
