Depends: Being "tone" is dependent on multiple factors including your body fat percentage/lean muscle mass percentage as well as genetics. Some individuals are genetically inclined to have those "6-pack" abs, while others can strengthen their abs forever and be thin, but never get that 6-pack appearance. I would think though within one month that you would notice a change in your physical appearance.
