What is riedels lobe specifically on the left lower lobe of the liver? my boyfriend had an ultrasound and thats what the report says. does it cause splenic cysts as well? both liver and spleen are enlarged. is this something to be worried about?

Riedel's lobe is a normal part of liver anatomy and is not the cause of any disease including splenic cysts. Enlarged spleen does warrant investigation.
