IBS: Severe abdominal cramping can lead to these symptoms but abnormally low blood pressure is not typical unless your baseline blood pressure is always on the low side as it often is with young women. If severe cramping persists, consult your physician. Observe for black or bloody stools. Absent these, taking bentyl can arrest abdominal cramping. Discuss with your MD.
