Yes, but from food: Amino acids are in all foods except those that have no protein. People need a variety of foods. Normal people do not need amino acid supplements. Since most supplements are not medications approved by the FDA, amino acid products are probably not tested for interactions and side effects like real medicines are. So, that means nobody really knows what the effects and the side effects are.
