A member asked:

Hi. my husband has been vomiting white foam for about a year. he has had many tests but nothing has shown up, it's getting worse. thank you?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vomiting: Is he coughing up or truly vomiting this substance? Does he vomit undigested food as well? Is there abdominal pain or cramping? Has he had a gastroscopy? He may have chronic gastritis, gastroparesis, overactive gag reflex, bile or acid reflux, reaction to tobacco or other substances. Have your gastroenterologist reevaluate him.
