A doctor has provided 1 answer

If : If a patient had new onset of headaches, that wake him at night and he has vomiting, then it would be reasonable to consult with their physician. Migraines or muscle tension are possibilities, but other causes of headache would need to be ruled out. It would be reasonable for him to consult his physician and have an evaluation as this headache sounds new and is described as severe.
