I had strep and took 500mg of amox. 2x a day 5 days. i feel ok but throat still hurts on one side & my hubby saw a white spot down low in throat. ???

Not full dose: Usually treatment of strep throat at that dose is 500mg twice a day for 10 days. I would continue treatment for full 10 days. If still having symptoms then, please see your doctor.
