Negative for strep: Iamoxicillen may not be working. It could just be the progression of your viral illness.

Finish medicine: Just have in mind that you have to finish the entire course of antibiotic to avoid creating a new strand of micro organisms resistant to Amoxicillin . Not because you feel better right away you stop taking the medicine.
