My 6 year old has been on cefdinir for four days for strep throat. her breath still smells badly and is still red with white pus spots. is this normal? we skipped amoxicillin because it didnt kill it last time she had strep?

She needs to take cefdinir for 10 days to eradicate the strep germs. The efficacy of Cefdinir is not any higher than amoxicillin in terms of eradication of streptococci from infected pharynx.
