Get blood work: It is really simple to check this. Get your labs including fasting blood sugar done and you will know for sure.if blood sugar is not conclusive get HgbA1c done too

Hemoglobin A1c: You need a fasting blood sugar and a Hgb A1c level checked, among other things, to decide if you even have diabetes, and type 1 inset is rarely as late as 29, see an Endocrinologist if you have symptoms of hyperglycemia

Overlapping symptoms: If you haven't lost at least 5 lb in the past week & been drinking fluids continuously you are unlikely to have T1DM.Type 2 can be subtle with vague symptoms and no weight loss, but it takes blood tests to confirm it. It would be reasonable for you to schedule a visit to go over your issues & find the cause.
