You can: If your hypothroidism is controlled appropriately with thyroid replacement, you should there should be no difference in your ability to lose weight as someone who does not have hypothyroidism.

What are the best ways to lose weight with type one diabetes and hypothyroidism?

The usual way: Eating less calories and burning off more calories is the key. Work with your doc to make sure your thyroid levels are right. You may need lower Insulin doses to match your lower food (esp carbs) intake. You don't want to have to eat extra to treat or prevent lows! work with your doc to help make these adjustments. As you lose, you may need less Insulin & less thyroid hormone, so keep checking.

Hypothyroidism: First, your hypothyroidism must be treated. Then change your lifestyle to a healthier one. You don't need a drastic diet. Make small changes. Eat the right portions, eat 3-5 small meals a day, cut back on carbs and sugars, increase lean protein/veggie/fruit/water intake, and start doing some cardiovascular exercise. Continue to monitor your tsh, t3, (liothyronine) and T4 levels as well.
