A member asked:

Intermittent rapid heart rate at rest and after warm bath/showers?! 2 week event/holter negative, even during intense exercise. not anxious.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rapid pulse: It would be helpful if you are able to accurately count your pulse(beats per minute) when you feel you're heart is racing to see if criterion for abnormally rapid heart rate is met. Exposure to heat does increase the heart rate until the body cools down. If your symptoms occur almost daily, the monitor should have detected tachycardia unless you didn't experience it while wearing the monitor.
