Walking and weight: Yes, walking will help w/weight loss but it needs to be brisk walking, not simply strolling along. Start w/a physical exam w/your doc to make sure you are healthy enough to exercise. Ask him/her about a food plan such as a low carb/higher protein food plan. Peace and good health.
