It's more about diet: Changing what you're eating may matter even more than walking relative to weight loss. Walking is good and you should be congratulated for your great intentions to get in shape. It takes a half hour to burn up the sugar stored in the liver, after that, one is burning fat. Walking past the initial half hour burns calories twice as fast. Be sure to cut all sugary drinks and starchy foods. Good job.
