A member asked:

Had an ultrasound on small lump on neck today, since the probe pressed on it my lump is smaller, like it pushed it in. what could it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Node, cyst or others: A small lump on the neck usually is a lymph node, a small sebaceous cyst or a lipoma, although it could be something else. Did the ultrasound show what it was? It is uncommon for the ultrasound to make it smaller.
