The only pulsating: Structure in the mid neck is the carotid artery. If the doctors exam and the u/s were unrevealing then you are probablly ok.

?lymph node: Assuming the carotid arteriogram was normal, this could be a lymph node sitting near the carotid artery and giving a transmitted pulse.
