Maybe: We know that a portion of the population are asymptomatic strep carriers.This means they get it, can pass it to others, but don't get "ill" while they carry it.This is one reason we see strep year round and why it is difficult to eradicate.You may have given it to your vulnerable spouse on several occasions.
