Sore throat almost 3 months. reoccurring white spots on tonsils. not strep. no other symptoms. small amounts of bloody/green phlegm from back of throat. the sore throat appeared an hour after kissing someone. help!!! i dont know what this could be. ?

ENT: Your physician may order cultures and a mono test, and if there is no abnormality based on these tests, then a cytologic analysis may be performed. This requires a biopsy to be obtained by an ENT specialist. Avoid smoke, dust and airborne irritants.
