Would a lumbar mri show signs of ovarian or cervical tumors/cancer? had one for back and it showed ovarian cysts (benign)

Maybe : Depending where the slices are made they would show masses there. Whether the masses are cancers or not requires a tissue sample (biopsy).

Depends: Usually MRI of lumbar spine has narrow window . Patients' anatomy varies from person to person. if ovary is in field of view may see tumor . Usually MRI dedicated to pelvis or abdomen more precise.
