Can a cervical neck mri miss a brain tumor? i had one recently for a bulge disk and it detected a big sinus cyst. in case i had a brain tumor... would it had also detect it? thanks

May be lower part: of the brain would be visible but not entire brain. So, you need mri of the head separately if indicated.

No info on brain: Cervical spine MRI would not show up a brain tumor. It only looks at the neck not the head. So yes it could miss a brain tumor.
