A member asked:

My daughter is 2 and snores badly, could this contribute or cause to her sleeping problems?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Needs an evaluation: The tonsil and adenoidal mass grow faster than the kids until age 8 or so then slow and the kid then grows faster.Snoring at two will only worsen, and likely create sleep apnea if it hasn't already. I would take the kid in to an ENT with a recording of the sounds of her sleep. Removal of the tonsils and adenoids could give you a happy well rested kid.
