Ask your bedpartner.: Although it is considerate to be concerned about your spouse, your main concern should be what the snoring means for you. Heavy snoring is often a sign of obstructive sleep apnea, a cause not only of poor sleep and daytime sleepiness but also various cardiovascular problems such as high blood pressure and heart attack. You should consider talking to your doctor about this.

Yes it can: Heavy snoring has been cause of many split ups and divorces. But why not get it treated and also it is good for your health. I suggest first you consult your Doctor and get examined&get referral for sleep studies. If you have sleep apnea you may need to use Cpap machine at night. There is also dental appliance which is custom made by your dentist. That can also stop snoring with or without Apnea
