A member asked:

Negative hiv tests (duo & pcr) each month over 10 months of last exposure; is it safe to move on and have unprotected sex again? also (-) for hepb&c..

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Move on -protected: From what you described you do not have HIV, however, that is not a reason to have unprotected sex. You may have other STDs or you could pick up STDs, including HIV. Unless you wish to have a child in a committed monogamous relationship, it is not safe to have unprotected sex. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
