Not a cure: Antibiotics will not cure an infected tooth. It will keep infection from spreading to other tissues for as long as they are taken, but infection will come roaring back when antibiotic discontinued. Your husband must go to a Dentist now.

See a dentist: It is better to be treated than to take medications that will not solve your problem. Infected teeth need to be treated or extracted.

Tooth ache: This medication will not cure an infected tooth. It may make him feel better for a short but the infection will still be there. Only a dentist can treat the tooth ache, infected tooth.
