Should i postpone my colonoscopy if i have a slight cold, it generated a tooth ache and now i think i have an infection in the area below the tooth. my procedure is schedule in 20 hrs?

Any time one is scheduled for surgery, especially with anesthesia, the overall health of the patient must be considered. Contact your gastroenterologist immediately.

As anesthesia is involved, contact your gastroenterologist immediately. Colds (virus) don't cause toothaches. Sinus inflammation can. Sit down. Lean forward & put your face between your knees.. If pain increases, sinuses are inflamed. Call your GP. Otherwise call your Dentist as you may have infected tooth (bacteria).
