More than 140/90: Your blood pressure is recorded as two figures. For example, 150/95 mm Hg. High Blood pressure is persistent readings greater than 140/90. This can lead to heart attacks and strokes. Self-help: Lose weight, exercise, eat healthily, reduce alcohol, caffeine and salt. Still high: See your doctor you may need as many as three or four medications for high blood pressure.
