There is a: wide range of growth rates for breast cancer, with the average doubling time probably about 6 months. However, cancers can also grow very slowly over the course of years, or more rapidly. BIRADS 4 doesn't mean you have cancer. It means there is a suspicious lesion likely needing a biopsy. Practically speaking, there is a 60-80% chance a BIRADS 4 lesion will be benign.
