Cbc shows high wbc nothing else. pain that moves around my back (upper/lower/waistline) no kidney stones on xray. doc says diverticulitis but no symptoms like that. i just had breast cancer/mastectomy 1 yr ago and i'm scared. what could this be?

High wbc ?'s: Increased white blood cell count is a sign of acute infection/inflammation. The migration of the pain above and below the waist usually is caused by inflammatory bowel disease. Ask for a GI physician referral for the diagnosis.
