A virus or strep: Many germs cause a rash, but an allergic reaction also could. Check for fever and trouble eating. May need to be checked by a doctor.

Mgt: Some possible causes include an allergic reaction, Kawasaki's disease and strep A. I would recommend that she be seen by her PCP. Please check her temperature and keep her well hydrated.
