When healed: Most patients can walk without difficulty or tenderness when the skin heals in the area of the stitches. This is generally within 7-10 days for a simple laceration. There may be a pulling sensation or feeling of tightness even after the tenderness subsides.. until the stitches dissolve or are removed. Best wishes!
