Dr. Scott Keith
Crown Point, IN
44 years experience male
Aside from practicing podiatry for over forty years, I have tried to keep myself busy while living life. Food and its history has always intrigued me, so I followed that dream. I attended culinary school and opened a restaurant which I have owned and operated for 29 years. Because animals are an essential part of my life, I served on the local humane society board and helped with the care of thousands of wonderful animals. To help others, I was an instructor, in anatomy and physiology as well as advanced physiology, at two local college campuses. Without doubt, my favorite city in the world is Rome. My wife and I visit there often with friends. I enjoy learning about the ancient world and enjoy visiting remote archaeological locations. Local excitement is riding my Harley- Davidson.

A 26-year-old female asked:
Tough Break.: A fall can hurt your foot in many different ways. The injury could involve the soft tissue alone or perhaps involving a broken bone. Either way, stay off your foot. Apply some cold compression and elevation for 24 hours or at least until you can have it evaluated. This may involve an x-ray to see if the foot is suffering from a break.
A 28-year-old female asked:
That tingling feelin: Not a whole lot to go on, but the main consideration is whether or not the tingling is due to the position you are in while in bed. Consultation with a specialist should narrow the various possibilities.
A 47-year-old female asked:
Running on Empty.: It sounds like you are having some trouble with the medial band of the plantar fascia. The symptoms are consistent with plantar fasciitis, a type of overuse syndrome. Until you get control of the symptoms and change your workout regimen, the symptoms will undoubtedly continue or increase. Best to consult with a foot specialist.
