Knee injury?: Because of your dancing, your knees are subject to lots of stress. The "shadows" may indicate deep bruising in the knee joint, and I'm wondering about an injury to the cartilage in the knee (called the "meniscus"). The lump you describe may be fluid buildup in the joint. I recommend seeing a doctor who can order pictures of the knee (x-ray, MRI). Meanwhile, rest, ice, and knee elevation may help!
