Immediate Dentures: Good evening; Seems like nerve to Anterior Nasal Area has been injured. Be gentle with your nose and refrain from blowing it. Most likely the nerve fibers will reconnect (anastomosis) over a period of weeks to months. Keep in contact with your dentist. You should be seen regularly for the next few months. Most often the numbness returns gradually over time.

See Surgeon: See your Oral Surgeon, then your Dentist if needed. Adjustments may be in order, but there may also be a concern with the nose and sinus areas and the incisive canal space. Go. Good luck.
