My son 25lb was given amoxicillin 400/5ml twice a day 5ml for otitis is seem ok? i worried overdose

High but ok: i recommend 30-40 mg/kg which would correspond to about 500 mg per day...you were prescribed 800. I doubt this will have any toxic effect, but it does seem a bit high.
